It was another stellar summer for East Wind, as the team spent the months of June, July, and August on the road at the Country Heir Horse Shows in Lexington, KY, and the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival in Traverse City, MI.
Stacey Shore Werner's Sebastian was the breakout star of the summer. The 7-year-old Holsteiner gelding competed in his first ever USHJA National Hunter Derby classes, and he was a winner in both Lexington and Traverse City, where he won not once, but twice. With Tiffany Morrissey in the irons, Sebastian scored a perfect 100 in the USHJA National Hunter Derby during the fifth week of GLEF. They were also winners during Week 4 and topped the Professional Section of Country Heir's derby.
