East Wind Year End Update, 2016

East Wind’s year-end results could be described in one word: dominant. The barn took home a remarkable amount of year-end accolades from both the South Florida Hunter Jumper Association and Equestrian Sport Productions. Congratulations to our year-end Champions, Reserve Champions and special award winners of 2016!

 

South Florida Hunter Jumper Association Year-End Awards:

 

For the second year in a row, Tiffany Morrissey won the Littlewood Farm "Winning Ways" Perpetual Trainer's Award for training the most Champions at the SFHJA Banquet!

 

  • Susannah Rose & Calero were named the Adult Amateur Hunter 36 & Over Champions for the fourth year in a row! They were both the overall and single point Champions, taking home the Honorable Mention Perpetual Trophy and the Say Something Nice Perpetual Trophy.

  • Christy Powell’s Karoleena, ridden in 2016 by Maggie Gould, was named the Overall Pre Green Hunter Champion. 

  • Christy Powell rode her own Savion to the Overall Low Adult Hunter Championship, which earned her the Worth Avenue & Ashland Farms Perpetual Trophy.

  • Taje Warrick and her own Dersey were both the Overall and Single Point Champions of the Children’s Jumper division. They were awarded both the Ranley Memorial Trophy and the La Cal Cup.

  • Hailey Berger and her own Shannondale Gino were the recipients of the Happy Al Memorial Trophy as Overall Champions of the Junior Jumpers.

  • Catie Staszak was awarded the Mardis Gras Memorial Trophy as Single Point Adult Equitation Champion.

  • Isabella Kaelber was Single Point Champion of the 12-14 Equitation.

  • Noa Diener rode her own Pippa to the Single Point Low Children’s Jumper Championship.

  • Doris Neyra and her own Alibi VI were Single Point Low Adult Jumper Champions. They were also Overall Reserve Champions of the division.

  • Catherine Wu and her own Ren Round Number were both the Overall and Single Point Adult Jumper Champions.

  • Jordy Katz, with her own Dexter, received the Overall Adult Equitation Reserve Championship.

  • In a special award ceremony, Lisa Berger was named the Horse Show Mother of the Year!

 

Equestrian Sport Productions Year-End Awards: 

 

  • Christy Powell’s Karoleena, ridden by Maggie Gould, was year-end Champion of the Pre Green Hunter division.

  • Susannah Rose and Calero were year-end Champions of the Adult Amateur Hunter division.

  • Hailey Berger and Shannondale Gino took home the year-end Championship in the Junior Jumpers.

  • Taje Warrick and Dersey received the year-end Children’s Jumper Championship. Taje was also year-end Reserve Champion of the Low Children’s Jumper with Mufasa.

  • Doris Neyra and Alibi VI were year-end Champions of the Low Adult Jumper division.

  • Isabella Kaelber was year-end Reserve Champion of the 12-14 Equitation
