East Wind Summer Update, 2015

East Wind returns home to South Florida following a highly successful summer circuit in Lexington, KY, Traverse City, MI and Bridgehampton, NY.


At the Hampton Classic Horse Show, Tiffany Morrissey and Maarten Huygens’ Carpriccio finished second over all in the $20,000 SHF Enterprises Young Jumper Championships 5-year-old Final. Morrissey and Carpriccio jumped four clear rounds!


At the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival in Traverse City, MI, there were numerous champions from Team East Wind:


  • Brooke Giacin and her own Cassis were champions of the 12-14 Equitation division in Week 1.

  • Tiffany Morrissey and East Wind Farms LLC’s Belucci were named champions of the Pre-Green Hunter division during Week 1, while Maggie Gould and Christy Powell’s Karolena were reserve champions. Gould and Karolena were champions in the Pre-Greens during Week 2. 

  • Emily Africk and her own Gringo were champions in the Children’s Hunter 15-17 division during Week 1.

  • Taje Lynn was both champion and reserve champion in the Low Children’s Jumpers with her own Drommels and Mufasa in Week 1. 

  • Grace Gruverman and Iron Street Equine Partners’ Ominous were champions in the Low Children’s Equitation division for Week 1, Week 2 & Week 4. They were also reserve champions in the Low Children’s Hunter division in Week 4.

  • Catherine Wu and Ericka Koenigsberg’s Sandro Star were champions of the Low Adult Jumper division in Week 1.

  • Jordyn Katz and her own Dexter were champions of the 15-17 Equitation during Week 2 & Week 4; Kate Eagleton and her own Volan were reserve champions in Week 2.

  • Olivia Gruverman and Iron Street Equine Partners’ Contharo Z were champions in the Children’s Hunter 15-17 division during Week 3.

  • Gabriela Iribar and her own Cassandra Z were champions of the Adult Amateur Jumpers in Week 4.


In Lexington, KY, there were more champions:


  • Taje Lynn and her own Drommels were champions in the Children’s Jumper division at the Kentucky Summer Classic. 

  • Megan Eisenfelder won the high junior jumper speed with her own Quicksilver at the Kentucky Summer Classic. The duo were also reserve champions of the division.
