East Wind spent a successful summer on the road in Lexington, Kentucky, and Traverse City, Michigan!
The summer started off with two weeks at the Country Heir Horse Shows in Lexington. Highlights include:

From there, East Wind spent a month at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival in Traverse City, where the accolades really began to pile up. Five Great Lakes Equestrian Festival Circuit Championships were awarded to East Wind riders:

More wins came in GLEF’s main hunter ring, as Maggie Gould and Drommels won three consecutive runnings of the USHJA National Hunter Derby. The duo finished the circuit a perfect 3-for-3 in derby competition, consistently receiving scores well into the 90s. They could not be stopped!
There were highlights both in and out of the show ring, as East Wind took in the Traverse City sights, sounds and tastes. Fun was had by all at the National Cherry Festival, where East Wind watched a special performance by the Blue Angels; the Sleeping Bear Dunes, where East Wind went hiking, kayaking and sightseeing around Lake Michigan; on Torch Lake, where East Wind went boating; and more!
