May 1, 2016

It was another banner year for East Wind at the 2016 Winter Equestrian Festival, as three EWF riders were honored with circuit championships for their consistent excellence throughout the 12-week season. In total, the East Wind team earned 16 individual championships.

  • Taje Warrick and her own Dersey - WEF Circuit Champion, Children’s Jumper 14 & Under

Sir Pepper, whom Tiffany Morrissey successfully campaigned in the 3 & 4-Year-Old Pre Green Hunter division before being sold mid-season, was also named WEF Circuit Champion of his division. Congratulations to his new connections!

East Wind would also like to recognize its individual WEF Champions:

Following WEF’s conclusion, East Wind traveled south for the 2016 Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach, where Megan Eisenfelder jumped two clear rounds in the 1.30-meter division with her own Quicksilver and our own Matt Morrissey handed out the awards for the prestigious American Invitational.

East Wind is taking a well deserved short rest before tackling the spring circuit in Wellington and heading north for a summer of showing on the road. Congratulations to all on a fantastic winter!
